My name is Brandy. I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge and food. I love greasy diner food, high end curated meals, and cheese.

I start my day off with several cups of coffee, and love something as simple as a really heavy, delicious oatmeal, though I have a weak spot for homemade jam stuffed French toast as well.

I have a few autoimmune issues, and am navigating the world of gluten free, dairy free, processed sugar free while keeping my sanity, and I want to help you too! If you are not these things, don't worry. I always include what you can do instead avoiding the ingredients I need to avoid for my health and pain issues. Come cook and experience food with me!
My Story
I have been in the kitchen since I was 6 years old with my mother, helping with meals for our large family. I learned through absorbing the knowledge my family had, and became curious as I hit high school.
In high school, I completed a culinary internship, and was HUNGRY to learn more, to smell more, to experience and taste more food, different food, of all levels, from escargot to po' boys. I returned to the high end kitchen in which I began after high school as a chef's apprentice, working through fire, ice, stress, 300 head parties, members only dinner specials, holidays and weddings, and learned so very much.
Now, I work in my kitchen to put food on my table for my family, and into my freezer for busy days. I am married to my best friend, my husband Mike, and we have a blended family with 2 children. Let me show you how to save money, meal prep, make copycat recipes, and craft delicious plates.
